The department evaluates child car seats for safety compliance. The Union Township Fire Department provides smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and batteries to township residents free of charge. The Union Township Fire Department continues to be proactive in fire prevention, both internally and in the community. Car seats are evaluated for safety compliance and compatibility.
